Canal Park Asian Bistro Set to Open Sunday

DULUTH - If you like Asian food pretty soon you'll be able to enjoy some more in Canal Park.

Owners of Cloud 9 Asian bistro are putting the finishing touches on their new restaurant.

They've gutted the old Thai Krathong restaurant, and transformed it into a cool bar and hang out.

The plan is to give customers a wide variety of Asian inspired meals like hibachi, Chinese, and sushi.

"It's kind of Chinese, Japanese, and put together to give the people a good choice," said owner Sam Lin.

The project has taken seven months to complete.

The owners, who also own Osaka on Miller Hill in Duluth, plan to open their doors Sunday.
