Park Point Beaches to Open Wednesday

DULUTH - Park Point Beach and surrounding facilities will officially be opening up Wednesday.

It means lifeguards will be at the beach from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, depending on weather conditions.

For the first time, beach goers will have access to life jackets in the Park Point Beach House for no charge.

But a warning is still out there for the public: conditions on the lake can change quickly, so be sure to look out for flag warnings and weather conditions before heading out.
