DULUTH- Some local teens took to the streets Saturday.
"Youth for Duluth" hosted a scavenger hunt for students.
Their goal is to remove the barriers they feel have existed between their schools.
They also want to help contribute to their community.
Duluth East 10th grader Lauren Hesch said, "you know we have five different area high schools and a lot of them never intermingle. And we think that's a problem. So we're having fun and getting to know each other while doing it."
The next project for "Youth for Duluth" is to create a calendar which will have volunteer opportunities listed for the students to sign up for.
