Boys & Girls Club Holds Annual Charity Event

DULUTH - The Boys & Girls Club of the Northland held a special annual charity event Thursday night.

The goal was to raise around $100,000 to support education, programing, meals and after-school activities for at least 3,500 young people ever year.

"We have a 50 percent increase in the past year of boys and girls seeking membership with the club," said Jeff Woolverton, with the Boys & Girls Club.

The organization is always looking for adult volunteers as well.
