New Pass Offered for Duluth Summer Tourist Destinations

PRESS RELEASE

DULUTH - Back by popular demand, three major Duluth, Minnesota attractions today announced the launch of the 2014 Must See Duluth Pass.

Great Lakes Aquarium, North Shore Scenic Railroad and Vista Fleet make up this unique partnership offering visitors an opportunity to see three attractions for the price of two with just one ticket.

With the slogan, "The way to Du it all", the Must See Duluth Pass provides admission to the three attractions at a cost of $33 per adult and $15 per child.

This year, Must See Duluth launched an expanded website at www.mustseeduluth.com offering online ticket sales at the click of a button, giving visitors the opportunity to purchase tickets from smartphones, tablets or computers.

The expanded site also offers suggested itineraries for day or weekend visitors, helpful guides for area parks, recreation and lodging options and local information and resources.

"This wonderful collaboration between three of Duluth's most popular tourist attractions is a benefit to all our visitors, but especially for those who are coming with families," said Ken Buehler, Executive Director of the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and North Shore Scenic Railroad. "It is the most affordable way to see the best that our city has to offer."

Tickets can still be purchased in person at all three attractions or at participating hotels.

Included with each Duluth Pass is one general admission to Great Lakes Aquarium, a one hour and 45 minute narrated sightseeing cruise aboard the Vista Fleet and a 90 minute excursion aboard an historic North Shore Scenic Railroad train.*

"Tourism in Duluth continues to grow and we lead the Midwest in our destination marketing efforts," said Duluth Mayor Don Ness. "Offering an online Duluth Pass to three popular attractions for one low price makes it easier and more economical for our visitors to get the most out of their time here in Duluth."

*Reservations are required for both the Vista Fleet and North Shore Scenic Railroad. Passes are valid through the 2014 tourist season.

Online tickets and more information about the attractions are available at www.mustseeduluth.com. More information can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MustSeeDuluth.
