DULUTH- Sunday was a great day for local kids to show off their karate skills.
The children participated in a benefit tournament to help raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network.
Mattevi's Martial Arts owner, Stefan Stein said, "we chose the Children's Miracle Network as our charity of choice because we have several students that have benefited from their services and one of our black belts is doctor Murphy, who is well known in the community and is a doctor for the Children's Miracle Network."
Children from more than 15 different Northland schools participated in the tournament.
