Superior Council Discusses Monthly Garbage Fee

SUPERIOR-The City of Superior is looking to overhaul garbage collection with a new monthly bill.

Right now, homeowners don't get a bill for garbage service.

It actually comes out of the city's general fund, or in other words, tax dollars.

But a new plan proposes charging residents $16.31 a month, and businesses would be charged $20.10 a dumpster lift.

The city is working with the state on the proposal.
