Shell Lake State Bank In Stone Lake Robbed

HAYWARD- On May 2, 2014 at approximately 2:50 p.m., the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office received a hold up alarm from Shell Lake State Bank in Stone Lake. Personnel at the bank advised they had been robbed by two armed males wearing ski masks and dark clothing. They left in a white Chevrolet Cavalier, with a named registration, heading towards Spooner.
Sawyer County Sheriffs Deputies responded along with all other available law enforcement. Washburn County Sheriff's Office was notified and responded.
All of the occupants in the bank were found to be physically uninjured.
An undisclosed amount of money was stolen during the robbery. The suspect vehicle was located, unoccupied, a few miles from the bank. The suspects are still at large.
