Fundraiser To Help Run Veterans Fountain

CHISHOLM- A favorite tourist attraction in Chisholm is in need of a little help.

Legion Post 247 will be having a spaghetti dinner may first to raise funds to help cover the costs of operating the Veterans Memorial Fountain in Chisholm.

Mayor Mike Jugovich said,  "it's an asset to the community. We're proud of it. And not only of the fountain but at the same time it's these veterans who gave so much to their country and they continue to this day to give back to their community, so we're very proud of it as a whole."

It costs about 2500 dollars, annually, to run the fountain and the mayor said they also want to set aside funds to cover the costs of repairs and upgrades.
