Women Veterans Come Together to Promote Wellness

DULUTH - Women veterans in Duluth are promoting wellness at the YMCA.

The event was held to honor female veterans service with a goal of offering resources that are typically hard to find.

The day included motivational speakers, mini-massages, and yoga sessions.

"It’s about being able to come together and have a place to connect with other people that you may share a similar experience with,” said Duluth Vet Center counselor and veteran, Stacey Rhodes. “It's a pretty exclusive experience."

The vets were also invited to use all of the YMCA's facilities for the day.

If they join this week, their membership fee is free.
