Salvation Army Celebrates Its Volunteers

DULUTH - Monday night was the night to say thanks to some special volunteers at the Duluth Salvation Army.
It was all part of the 16th annual Volunteer Dinner.

Nearly 150 of the 2,000-plus volunteers were on hand.

"Very important to connect with the volunteers and let them know how much -- we couldn't do without them," said Major Bill Cox, of the Duluth Salvation Army.

While the Christmas, bell-ringing season is a busy one, volunteers help out the Salvation Army all year, especially at the soup kitchen.
