SUPERIOR- Only half an hour into the event, more than 1700 people packed Wessman arena to sample more than 120 craft beers.
This is the 17 year for Brewfest.
This year they had brewers come from as far away as Alaska and featured nine new brewers that people were anxious to sample.
Coordinator, Amber Pederson said, "a lot of the brewers bring some really unique type of craft and microbrews that they've been working on. So it's a great chance for people to come and sample it instead of always buying a six pack and figuring out what they like and don't like."
The event was also for a good cause.
All proceeds raised from Brewfest will go to support the Superior Jaycees and stay within the community to support organizations throughout the year.
