ELY - On April Fool’s Day, the city decided to launch a 24-hour Ely all-the-time network, calling it The Ely Channel.
It'll feature spin-off shows like Iron Range Chef, Sauna Wars, and Real Housewives of St. Louis County.
Many Northlanders think the plan sounds great, but It's not actually happening because it's part of Ely’s annual April Fool’s Day prank.
They designed a full website to make the prank seem real.
Since 2008, Ely has been playing jokes on April Fool’s Day.
Last year, they joked on banning social media because only the birds tweet.
