Taste of Fitgers Hopes to Raise $30K

DULUTH - Friday evening, hundreds of Northlanders got the opportunity to help feed the community through the annual Taste of Fitgers.

Local restaurants, breweries, and wineries lined the halls of Fitgers indoor mall.

All the proceeds go to Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.

"It really engages the community to help others,” said executive director of Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank. “By supporting this event you're essentially the ones that are feeding people in our communities.”

Last year, the event raised more than $30,000. They hope for the same amount for Friday’s event.
