DULUTH - A group of visitors from Russia is sharing educational experiences with students and staff at UMD.
It's all part of an innovation conference that started in St. Paul on Monday.
UMD hosted a lunch and presentation Wednesday on topics ranging from the school's Sustainable Agriculture Program to the Large Lakes Observatory.
One of the 12 Russian visitors we talked to said it's a great chance for cultural exchange.
"I love Americans because you are friendly and you are always interesting to talk and it's a great opportunity to be here today," said Liubov Voolkova, of Russia.
The group also toured Fond du Lac after the visit to campus.
