DULUTH - The baseline results of a first-of-its–kind economic research study in the Northland were unveiled Tuesday.
The results are the first part of the long-term study to look at a 100–mile radius for economic trends so businesses can plan for the future and to help keep students in the work force.
"The idea is show them that there are possibilities here and help connect businesses with students for job hiring or maybe internship opportunities and try to make more of that connection," National Bank of Commerce Marketing Director Valérie Blanchenay said.
Full results of this first round of the study will be on the National Bank of Commerce's website Wednesday.
