Fire Engulfs Home in Rural Pine River

PINE RIVER - Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that on March 10, 2014 at approximately 6:39PM the Sheriff's Office received a report of a house fire in the 2700 block of 36th Ave SW in Walden Township, rural Pine River MN.
The Pine River Fire Department was dispatched and arrived to find the home fully engulfed in fire.
No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office, Pine River Fire Department and the State Fire Marshall's Office.
The Backus Fire Department and the Pequot Lakes Fire Department assisted at the scene.
