Denfeld Walk-Up Dairy Queen Open for Summer

DULUTH - Despite the bitter cold, the walk-up Dairy Queen in West Duluth is now open for business.

Tuesday was officially their first day of mixing up blizzards and giving locals a tasty treat.

“Everyone's been very excited to come through and grab a treat,” said DQ’s owner Chuck Koltes. "They'll come out and stand at the window freezing and they still want their blizzard.”

Even though it's only March, Koltes says he opens early hoping spring will come a little sooner.
