DULUTH - Hundreds of people packed Spirit Mountain’s Grand Avenue chalet to hear the mayor's vision for the city Monday.
Duluth Mayor Don Ness looked back on the challenges of 2013, like battle with Last Place on Earth.
He also looked forward at the future of Duluth, focusing on the lack of housing, homelessness, and using the city's natural beauty to bring in tourists.
"Now, what we're doing is taking those initiatives and ideas from five years ago and bringing them back together and making one collective whole," explained Ness.
The mayor’s main focus for 2014 is to revitalize the St. Louis River corridor in West Duluth.
