Superior Police Officers Honored for Work

SUPERIOR - A group of officers from the Superior Police Department were honored for their work Wednesday.

Deputy Chief Matt Markon said the ceremony also gave the public a chance to know what's going on behind the scenes of their investigations.

"There are some major cases that are going on certainly in our city and the officers do work very hard to bring those cases through to conclusion whether it's an arrest or some other good conclusion to it," said Markon.

Officers with the Lake Superior Drug and Gang Task Force and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force were also honored.
