DULUTH - The Duluth Fire Department responded to a fire at Johnson Auto Repair in downtown Duluth early Wednesday morning.
Eight companies, along with off-duty officers, were called to the business near 2nd Ave. E and 2nd St. to help fight the blaze.
Officials said the point of origin of the fire took a while to find.
"(The) fire's under control at this point and crews will be here for a couple more hours during overhaul and taking care of hotspots," Duluth Deputy Fire Chief Charlie Smith said.
As of 7 a.m. fire crews were still on the scene. Damage estimates have not yet been determined.
