Hermantown School Board Member Charged With Theft

HERMANTOWN- Hermantown police say a school board member has been charged with felony theft.

Deputy Chief Shawn Padden said Stephanie Hamell was charged last week with felony theft.
He said she has been accused of stealing personal items from an acquaintance but did not have the exact dollar amount. He said that it had to be over $1000, however to be considered a felony.
