DULUTH- The bad weather didn't stop some nNorthlanders from getting out and cutting a rug.
The Armory Arts and music center held a sock hopping good time to celebrate the 55th anniversary of its winter dance party.
Armory Arts Vice President, Nelson French said, "we are here celebrating the value of the Armory as a facility that was recognized for its benefit to the arts in this community."
Buddy holly gave one of his last performances at that winter ball, and a young Bob Dylan was also there, where French said he believed Dylan acquired his love of music.
