Duluth Police: Twins Bar Is A Growing Safety Concern

DULUTH - Just days after a shooting incident at Twins Bar, Duluth police were calling on the owner to turn the violence around Wednesday, or pay up.
Authorities told FOX 21 that police calls at the bar on East Fourth Street have taken an alarming spike the past 90 days, which includes two gun-related incidents.
On Wednesday, newly established Twins Bar owner Carl Green and property owner Charles Lemon were served a special notice from the Duluth Police Department that said any disturbance calls for the next 90 days may result in a $250 fine per police call.
Essentia Health St.-Mary's Medical Center is across from the Twins Bar, which employees roughly 5,000 people, which is a big concern for the police department and another reason to step up enforcement on the establishment in question.
