19 Yr. Old UMD Student Found in Cold Continues to Recover

DULUTH - The 19–year–old UMD student found unconscious in the cold continues to make progress in her recovery.

According to Alyssa Lommel's Caring Bridge site her mother says she fluttered her eyes Thursday morning, meaning she believes Alyssa can now hear her.

However, Alyssa continues to have a tough time breathing, but she's getting medicine through a ventilator to help with that.

A fund to help with Alyssa's needs has been set up by friends and family at Bremer Bank in St. Cloud.
