Duluth East Hosts 'Coaches for Cancer' Fundraiser

DULUTH - The coaches at Duluth East High School hosted a cancer fundraiser Tuesday night.

They see it as a way for the schools to give back to the community.

"We're doing a fundraiser, a silent auction, to raise money for awareness for all sorts of cancer,” said Duluth East’s girls’ basketball head coach, Joaquim Harris. “It’s not just breast cancer, but every type of cancer."

All the money raised will go to the American Cancer Society.
