Superior High School Opens New Cafe

SUPERIOR – Coffee, fancy desserts, relaxation, sounds like a cafe right? Well we're actually talking about Superior High School.
Every Thursday, after school, half of their cafeteria is transformed into a cafe!
While studying under low and flickering lights students can sip on cappuccinos, eat decadent desserts and pizza.
"We opened it up because we wanted the children, the students to come to a place that was safe for them,” said Betty Nordrum with Superior High School. “For them to study meet new friends."
"Because some kids don't have any place after school, this is a good place to be," said Gerri Anderson with Superior High School.
The Thursday Night Cafe is open every Thursday from 3:05 pm.m to 8 p.m..
