Otherwise they might not be able to complete your return and may have to re-schedule your appointment.

Here’s what tax experts have to say about facing penalties under the Affordable Care Act for not having health insurance:
"This year they've delayed that penalty,” Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program Coordinator Jo-Lyne Ryker said. “They've delayed it until next year so that won't be coming up on this year's taxes."
Tax preparers also tell FOX 21 it's a good idea to bring last year's tax returns to your appointments.
