Illinois Man Killed in Snowmobile Accident Over Weekend

TOWN OF MERCER - An Illinois man is dead after a fatal snowmobile accident this weekend.
Iron County authorities said they responded to the emergency call at 3:25 a.m. Saturday morning. When they arrived, the 46-year-old man was found unresponsive.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the man left the trail and struck several trees.
Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
The Wisconsin DNR is ivestigating the accident.
