DULUTH, Minn. - Duluth police have released the name of a homicide victim who was killed early Saturday morning.
It’s 33-year-old Matthew Walker of Duluth.
Police were called to 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Street in Duluth’s central hillside neighborhood for a medical call.
When they arrived they found Walker had died of a head injury.
James Strappe, 53, was arrested on 2nd degree unintentional homicide.
Strappe is expected to be charged this week.
Police say both men knew each other.
Neighbors say the home where the incident happened was a half-way house for people in recovery.
"There was like 12 - 13 squad cars out here,” said neighbor Mike Young. “From what I heard some guy had been pushed off the balcony and he had broke his neck."
Police have not confirmed how Walker died.
