Duluth Police Investigate Death of Man

DULUTH, Minn. - A man is found dead in downtown Duluth early Saturday morning and the suspect is behind bars. Just before 6:30a.m. Saturday, January 17th, morning officers responded to 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Street for a medical call.
When they arrived they found a 33-year-old man dead, having sustained head injuries.
Duluth Police said the man was assaulted by someone he knew, 53-year-old James Strappe.
Strappe is being held in the St. Louis County jail for 2nd Degree Unintentional Homicide.
