Spaghetti Dinner, Fundraiser to Benefit Military Families

SUPERIOR, Wis. - A spaghetti diner for a good cause is set for Jan. 21.The dinner and fundraiser will be at Superior Elks Lodge from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.The cost is $7 and those under five years old can eat for free. Take outs are also available.All proceeds will go to put on a Valentine's Day Party for the kids of the families of those deployed in the 950th Engineer Route Clearance Company in Superior.Organizers have another special gift up their sleeve."When they have the face painting done we want to get a picture of each of the kids and the parent and send that picture over to the person that is deployed over Afghanistan," said Lake Superior Trea President, Butch Liebaert. All of the extra proceeds not used from the party will be used to send other goodies to troops overseas.
