DULUTH, Minn.- Local Kids headed to the Snowflake Nordic Center to learn some new skills. Sunday kicked off the 20th year of the "KidSki" program.Kids ages 4-12 took it to the slopes to learn about classic cross country and skate skiing through different games and technique activities. "It's really important for them to be active at a young age and learn to love the outdoors. Cross country skiing can be a frustrating sport to learn but it can also be a lot of fun," said KidSki Coordinator, Sarah Allen. The event will run until next month.
