Duluth Holds New Racing Event for Youth

DULUTH - The first ever Saturday Morning at the Races was held inside UMD’s field house. Nearly 300 kids, ages 14 and younger, raced on the indoor track burning off energy, making new friends and having fun. "We just wanted to be able to offer something different in the winter time to kids and their families to come on out and have a fun morning of racing,” said Bob Gustafson with Grandma’s Marathon. “Just kind of good camaraderie with other families and friends." Race organizers say they will likely hold the event again next year.
