No More Dylan Days Leaves Void In Hibbing

HIBBING, Minn. - There are still plenty of heavy hearts in Hibbing after it was recently announced the iconic Dylan Days celebration wouldn't be held this year."It's a big deal around here. It brings a lot of people into town and most of us are pretty proud he comes from here and like to spend time here celebrating," said Lynnette Nowak, a Hibbing resident.Event organizers said they decided to call it off because they could no longer dedicate their time to the cause.The group's hope is that new volunteers will step forward to bring back the celebration.All of the remaining funds for Dylan Days have been transferred to the Hibbing Arts Council for future use to honor Dylan.
