Engwalls Purchases Anderson Peterson Flowers

DULUTH, Minn. - Peterson Anderson Flowers will officially become Engwalls-Peterson Anderson Flowers on January 6th as part of the purchase of the nearly half century owned business in downtown Duluth.

The Engwalls purchase of Peterson Anderson will join two trusted names in floral combining the creativity, customer service and inventory of both businesses.

"We are excited and looking forward to continuing to provide the community the great products and services that people have received from Peterson Anderson throughout the years," said Rod Saline, owner of Engwalls Florist, Greenhouse and Garden Center.

Karen Anderson of Peterson Anderson was looking forward to spending more time with family and traveling after nearly 40 years in the floral business. "I'm thrilled that the Peterson-Anderson tradition will be continued by Engwalls and knowing you will see the same employees, service and quality of products that you have experience over the years."

Engwalls has been serving the Twin Ports for 126 years and under Saline's ownership since 1987 after beginning to work there in 1974.

Engwalls main retail floral location is headquartered at 4749 Hermantown Road where their extensive garden center is located along with their wholesale greenhouse operation and their Interior Plantscape Department which takes care of green plants in offices throughout the twin ports.
