DULUTH, Minn.- New parents, Rebecca and Eric, spent New Year's in the hopsital welcoming a new member to their family.Edward Mitchell was born at 2:48 Thursday morning. He weighs 8 lbs, 10 oz and is 20 inches long.He is named after Rebecca's dad and both of Eric's grandfathers.This is the couple's first baby and they couldn't think of a better way to start the year."I'm excited to see his personality. He already makes all kinds of faces. Right away when I first had him he was trying to open his eyes to look at me," Rebecca Johnson said.Rebecca says she's excited to finally be a mom and couldn't be happer to welcome her son on New Year's Day.
