DULUTH - The robotics team at Duluth East High School got a chance to show off their work to Sen. Al Franken Monday.
The Daredevils did some demonstrations, shared their success stories, and told Franken about their upcoming design challenge.
Franken is a member of the Senate Education Committee and has pressed to expand STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education opportunities for students.
He says the robotics program is a big part of getting kids interested in those subjects.
