Volunteers Hope To Make Family's 'Best Christmas Ever'

CARLTON COUNTY, Minn. - People in Carlton County are working to give one family the best Christmas ever.The past few weeks, they've been collecting gifts to donate to an anonymous family in the area.Thursday night, the volunteers held a gift wrapping party to get everything ready for the big delivery.The Best Christmas Ever program chooses one local family a year with the goal of getting them back on their feet."Certain events have impacted their lives that it's been changed forever. So this is a way we can lift them up during the holiday time and provide for them," said Elissa Ellefson, and organizer of the program.The goal is to raise enough money to buy the family a new vehicle.
