Hermantown Students 'Shop With A Cop' For The Holidays

HERMANTOWN - The Hermantown Police Department swarmed Walmart Wednesday night for a good cause.It's called "Shop with a Cop."Officers took 20 middle school students holiday shopping so the kids could have the means to give their family a gift."We hope the kids take back that the police officers are here to help, we're good people and that giving is more important than receiving presents at the Christmas time," said Sgt. Mark Gunderson.This is the 10th year of "Shop with a Cop."It's made possible by Bernick's Pepsi, Subway, Walmart and the Hermantown Police Department.
