CASDA Moves Forward from Damaging Fire and Water Damage

SUPERIOR - What started as a small grease fire in the kitchen of casda
in superior, ended up having more damage than just that.The flames were big enough to trigger the sprinkler system, resulting in significant water damage throughout the
building.
Baseboards had to be pulled away from walls and holes were drilled to connect piping in order to dry the walls internally.
With shelters filled to capacity in the area, women were sent all over northern Minnesota and Wisconsin
for shelter.
But, employees of CASDA say they are moving along And have five out of ten rooms Ready for re–occupancy."We're just thankful that things have been able tomove forward fairly quickly and we're really looking forward to opening and
doing what we do best which is support victims," Renee Graves, Children's Program Coordinator said.immediate needs for CASDA are paper products and feminine care
products.
