Man Pleads Guilty to Carjacking in Superior

SUPERIOR - One of two suspects involved in a carjacking and armed robbery in Superior has pleaded guilty.

Twenty year old Cheyenne Smith of Cloquet entered that plea to a count of taking and driving a vehicle without consent Friday.

Police say the crime happened near Walmart on Tower Avenue when the victim offered the two guys a ride at a stop light.

Police say they pointed a gun at the driver, demanded he get out and then eventually took off with the vehicle.

Smith is credited with serving 138 days in jail and will have to be on probation for the crime which happened in October of 2012.
