Santa Claus Makes First Appearance at Fitger's

DULUTH, Minn. - It's a holiday tradition at one of downtown Duluth's most recognizable locations.

Santa Claus made his first visit to Fitger's Friday.

Children were already lined up before Saint Nick made his arrival, and as he approached them, they ran to meet him.

Santa offered a high five or a hug to kids eager to tell him their wish lists for this Christmas.

"It really warms me up inside on a cold day when everyone comes with excitement and wants to tell me about their Christmas and their Christmas dreams and wishes. It's fantastic stuff," Santa said.

Santa will be at Fitger's for a photo session every weekend until Christmas.

Partial proceeds for photo sales will go to area charities.
