DULUTH, Minn. - If pie and turkey aren't your thing for Thanksgiving, Old World Meats in Duluth has you covered.
Employees there say this is the best season they've seen since the recession.
Their customers are coming in looking for crab legs, prawns and their house smoked salmon along with a lot of red meat."Other than turkey, we see a lot of ham and then prime rib is very, very popular,” said Nicole Wrazidlo, an employee at Old World Meats. “Filet Mignon has been a big trend this year as well."
The store says a traditional turkey is too time consuming for some people so they're turning to faster and easier options.
