Parking Ramp Opens At Duluth Airport

DULUTH - It's was a celebration at the Duluth International Airport Thursday with its first-ever parking ramp.The four-story structure is now open to travelers with more than 300 parking spaces.The ramp has a skywalk that connects to the airport terminal across the street."Despite our hearty nature, it is nice to have a spot to get in where you are not climbing over a snow bank and it is a little bit warmer and you are out of the wind. It's just an easier experience," said Tom Warner, executive director of the Duluth Airport.The project cost $10 million and largely completes the airports reconstruction that started in 2009.
