SUPERIOR, Wis. - The City of Superior is glowing with Christmas cheer.Local families joined the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce in the 25th Annual Tree Lighting at the corner of Tower Avenue and Belknap Street Wednesday. It was also a chance to kick off the Christmas season with a visit from Santa, holiday carols, cookies and hot chocolate."It's just a way for us to help bring the community together, talk about what's going on, but really just share the holiday spirit and remind people, that whoever you are, there's somebody less fortunate than yourself and really do your best during the season to try and give to others," said Dave Minor, president of the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce. This year's tree has more than 4,000 lights and was planted more than 20 years ago.
