SUPERIOR, Wis. - Students at Bryant Elementary are taking in as much loose change as they can get.
For their annual Coins for Kindness campaign, classes are collecting coins and dollar bills to buy locals winter gear to stay warm."It's pretty neat to see people being generous and coming together and the excitement for everybody,” Bryant Elementary School counselor Carrie Hennessey said. “It's a student led project and so they get to go around and do that and be part of it."
You can drop off coins at the school until next Wednesday.
If they meet the goal of $700, the principal will dump ice water over her head.
