DULUTH - The Duluth Transit Authority has announced that all regular route and STRIDE services are being suspended due to ice-covered streets.
The DTA will implement its emergency mainline service immediately, which will provide service along the Superior St. and Grand Avenue corridor, until such time that DTA buses are able to travel up and down the hillside routes.
Regular service on the 13U and 18 routes serving UMD and St. Scholastica will also continue at this time.
The DTA will continually monitor street conditions, and at this time it is estimated that regular services will be able to resume at 2 p.m.
Those customers who require DTA bus services are advised to monitor the DTA web-site and radio stations to learn when regular routes are resumed.
