Bigfork School Put on Soft Lockdown

ITASCA COUNTY - A Northland school was put on soft lockdown Friday after authorities were called about an assault by a felon with a firearm.

Because it happened so close to campus, Bigfork School was put on precautionary lockdown.

Sheriff's deputies arrested an 18-year-old man.

There have been no direct threats made to the school districts, according to authorities.
