Superior Armed Robbery Suspect on the Run

SUPERIOR - Superior police are looking for a man who they said robbed a Super America gas station Tuesday.It happened at 4:55 a.m. at the store at 1405 Broadway St. A black man, about 5'6" tall, and 150 pounds, walked into the store and approached the counter to purchase items, according to police. Then police said he jumped over the counter and punched the female clerk in the face with a weapon in his hand.He ran off after police said he threatened a witness with his weapon who was trying to block the front door.The suspect was last seen getting into a car that police later discovered was stolen from Duluth.If you know anything, call 911.
